Senior Sales Manager-Oil & Gas, Perth WA

Our client is a rapidly expanding multinational organisation with a portfolio of international oil & gas clients. Currently experiencing an exciting growth phase they are now seeking a Senior Sales Manager with oil and gas experience to join their team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will specialize in the sales of pumps, valves, fittings and flanges to the Oil & Gas, onshore and offshore engineering companies. Utilising your previous contacts developed in the Perth oil and gas market, you will make an immediate impact and bring new sales into the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Market the company and its products to the clients to get RFQ's, submit offers and push to obtain orders
• Undertake site visits to clients, whilst selling the product.
• Prepare reports and take part in budgeting (quarterly and annually)
• Develop and implement a marketing plan which will meet business and personal goals of expanding the customer base in the marketing area.
• Work within the sales and support team in order to achieve revenue generation; customer satisfaction and long term career goals in line with the organisations vision and values.
• Develop an annual business plan which outlines activities to follow during the financial year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
• Have a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
• Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale which will result in increasing market share.
• Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
To be successful in this role you will have 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role. You will have a proven record in the sales of pumps, valves, fittings and flanges to EPC contractors. With excellent communication skills and a professional approach to work, you will have strong networking skills, along with a large base of established contacts that you can immediately generate business with.
As a self motivated individual, you will be proactive in your approach to work and carry out your responsibilities independently.
