Senior Contracts Specialist - Dayton, OH
Our client provides program management support services, information technology solutions, and technical consulting to the Federal Government.
Job Parameters
Provide Contracting Support Services for tasks in all phases of the acquisition cycle to include development, award, management and measurement, including contract closeout.
Perform pre-and post-award procurement functions for fixed-price and cost reimbursement, complex and high dollar acquisitions. Apply in-depth working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies for the Air Force Plant 42 Operations and Maintenance program and Contractor Type Rehabilitation (CTR) facilities projects within ASC/ENV.
Perform analysis and evaluation of cost and pricing data and other types of pricing information to determine price reasonableness including evaluation of Service Contract Act Wage Adjustment proposals with Collective Bargaining Agreements. Prepare negotiation objectives and associated business clearance documents. Prepare contractual files as necessary to support the award of contractual documents.
Perform thorough research, analysis, and review of all applicable policies, guidance, and regulations to support Government Contracting Officer decision-making. Assist as a non-government advisor in source selections, as necessary.
Requirements
15 years experience in government contracts administration
Secret Security Clearance
Extensive knowledge of Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Labor Hour contract types.
Experience with FAR, DFAR, and Agency specific procurement regulations and commonly used contracting methods, RFP, RFQ, BAA, and sole source, related to pre award, price/cost analysis, and post award functions.
