Position Description
Provide daily real-time support of Our client electronic trading middle office applications for the Institutional Equities division. Responsibilities include application support/verification/deployment, analysis/troubleshooting and resolution. The candidate will interface with operation clients, developer, business analysts, front office trading and back office teams. Business line products being covered range from Cash, Programs, Derivatives, Swaps, Algorithmic and Client Facing systems. Candidate will be in close, constant contact with the operations unit, and will often act as a liaison between the business and development groups. The role will also heavily involved with incident, problem, change management and other ITIL related works.

Skills Required
Strong UNIX, and SQL
Scripting - Perl/ksh
Ability to function in a high pressure environment,
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize
Prior trade support experience

Skills Desired
Experience working with front and middle office equity trading systems.
Knowledge of equities trading and tradeflow.
